Empowering Leaders.

Building Capacity.

Facilitating Transformation.

I help executive leadership teams and People & Culture leaders solve their toughest leadership and organizational challenges.

With over 20 years of experience leading international peacebuilding organizations, designing leadership development programs for top organizations like Google and the CDC, and teaching at Stanford, I specialize in elevating organizational culture, collaboration, and conflict management. I also consult with the UN on developing transformational leaders operating in complex, uncertain environments.

My approach is rooted in practical, measurable solutions that build capacity and drive transformational, sustainable change.

    • Managing change, uncertainty, and conflict

    • Assessing leadership and learning & development gaps

My approach is collaborative and educational, offering insights, expertise, and process support to help teams make informed decisions that drive organizational success.

  • I create and deliver tailored learning experiences that drive transformational individual and collective growth. My programs blend academic rigor with practical application, ensuring that your team develops the mindsets, skillsets, and strategies necessary to succeed.

    Key Offerings:

    Six-month experiential leadership development programs

Three-month experiential courses about interpersonal influence, organizational influence, and managing difficult conversations

Assessments of your existing leadership and manager training programs

  • I design and facilitate immersive, high-impact off-sites and retreats that align leadership teams and boards on vision, strategy, and values.

My approach is collaborative and impact-driven. In the weeks leading up to the event, we partner to clarify goals, design an optimal agenda and activities, and develop communications that set expectations and generate enthusiasm.

During the event, I either facilitate or serve as a thought partner and coach to the lead team member. Afterward, we debrief to identify key outcomes, learnings, and future opportunities.

About me

I began consulting after leading multicultural capacity-building organizations in volatile contexts such as Afghanistan, Cambodia, and Iraq while teaching JDs and MBAs at Stanford. I wanted to bring the rigor and quality of the Stanford classroom directly to the leaders and teams facing today’s biggest challenges. Today, I serve as a strategic thought partner to values-driven leaders, offering consulting, learning & development, and facilitation services that empower their organizations to thrive.

I continue contributing to international peacebuilding by designing and facilitating trainings for the UN Dept of Peace Operations, UN Dept of Operational Support, and UNITAR's Women Leadership for Peace Program and by periodically advising parties involved in peace processes like the Syrian Women’s Advisory Board and Libyan Mediator Network on negotiation and mediation strategy.

I'm a US Dept of State Fulbright Specialist in experiential learning design and capacity-building, and a professor in the UN Masters in Humanitarian Action and Peacebuilding program. I have a law degree from Stanford, and am a certified mediator. When I’m not traveling the world like a modern Carmen Sandiego, you can find me at home in sunny Santa Barbara.
